The 1st Harrow Weald Scout Group was first formed in 1908 by William Henry Peers the Vicar of the All Saints Church and was known as the All Saints Scout Troop. In 1909 when most scout troops started to register the name was changed to the 1st Harrow Weald. It is thus one of the oldest scout groups still running in the world.
