1. After you download the software, the file is in ZIP format and must be decompressed. If you have Windows XP, then you should be able to open it without much trouble. If you have a version of Windows OTHER than XP, you will need to download a ZIP utility such as WinZip. 2. Once decompressed, double-click on the EncompassInstaller.exe to begin installing the software to your computer. In the setup, just accept all the defaults. 3. Once installed, there will be an icon on your desktop for it.
