Living in Singapore (a multi-cultural melting pot) in the heart of South East Asia we are spoilt for choice. In this city alone we can access incredible Chinese, Malaysian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Vietnamese, Thai, Burmese, Cambodian, Japanese and Korean food. Take a minimum 2 hour flight in any direction and you can pop into one of those countries to continue exploring the cuisine locally – and we do! Our time in this part of the world has opened our eyes to a plethora of tastes, smells and cooking techniques which we look forward to bringing to you in coming months. We aim for fresh, real, unprocessed meals in our household that are generally very good for you and contain as many “home-made” ingredients as possible (stay tuned for the new apartment farm that is in the making!). However, indulging every now and then is good for the soul (and I confess to having a sweet tooth!) so keep an eye out for the odd baked good or sweet treat.
