Thirty years ago, Amron International's founder, Norma Ockwig, saw an opportunity and began selling commercial diving and hyperbaric equipment to the international offshore oil industry. Thus, in 1978, Normco, a sole proprietorship was formed. In 1979, the company was incorporated and renamed Amron International Diving Supply Inc.
