A charter was granted to Three Rivers Are Health Services, Inc. (TRAHSI) on September 6, 1978 by the State of Mississippi. Three Rivers Area Health Services, Inc. originally began in Houlka, MS with Ann Lamb as Executive Director, Janelle Patterson and Lynda Sunderland as Administrative Assistants. Following de-funding, TRAHSI was moved to Smithville with Earnest Chism as Executive Director. Mr. Chism served as Executive Director until February 1995.
