Alaska Judo Inc. (AJI) is the state governing body for the Olympic sport of Judo in Alaska. It is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the promotion of Judo, and holds tournaments and clinics throughout the year.Kodokan Judo is a martial art form developed by Sensei Jigoro Kano with the aim of creating fine citizens through physical education. It is largely based on various schools of JuJitsu, and as such is an excellent form of self-defense.
