Tery has researched the writing and publishing industry for the past twelve years. She took a writing course through the Writer's Digest School of Writing called, "How To Market Your Non-Fiction Workbook," and is currently a student for a workshop called, "The One Minute Millionaire," instructed and designed by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert Allen. Tery is learning how to write a one million dollar book proposal.
She attended four writing workshops in the area she lives and has taught creative writing to home-school students. Tery is currently designing a creative writing adult workshop and will be offering it within the community she lives in. She has a two-year associate degree and went to college for law. She self-published her first book, "Rainbow Wishes and Colorful Dreams: A Self-Discovery Journal for Mothers and Daughters Celebrating Life" with Xlibris. She is currently writing her second book called, "Teardrops on Roses: Violence Awareness and Survival Techniques for Young Women." She is researching her third book.
Tery wrote for three columns at Suite101.com and is a course author and course instructor for two workshops within Suite University. She was the Community Manager for the Writing and Publishing Community within Suite101.com.
