was established in 1852 as a stagecoach line carrying passengers from the paddle wheelers in Sacramento to the communities in the "Gold Country" of the Northern California foothills. From those early beginnings Amador Stage Lines has grown to be one of the largest and most stable operators in Northern California and has expanded its operations into Northern Nevada, including the Lake Tahoe region.
