Born in San Jose, Costa Rica, she studied in the Universidad del Diseno where she got her license in architecture and urbanism in 2008. In 2005 she was merited with the Renzo Piano Building Workshop Internship Program, Genoa, Italy. She later on moved to Shanghai, China on 2008, where she participated as Project Architect at SPARK ( previously known as SMC ALSOP) until 2011. Wang Zuniga has just completed her Masters in the Architecture and Urbanism at the Design Research Laboratory, Architectural Association in , January 2013.
