The group's organizers are lifelong fans of Japanese animation, video games, and popular culture. However, the group's founders are also big into supporting nerds and geeks.
The Events
The organization organizes six major anime conventions every year. The largest of which is in Chicago, known as Anime Midwest. The second largest is in Minneapolis. The group's events are concentrated in the Midwest relatively near the Mississippi River.
