- About Us
- There has been an Archers Law practice in Stockton-on-Tees since 1860 when C J Archer opened his office on the High Street. Over the next 40 years he built his reputation by representing many of the successful businesses in the area and their owners, a tradition still continued today!
- In 1908 C J Archer went into partnership with Agar Parkin and subsequently that firm, then known as Archer, Parkin & Archer, merged in 1920 with the family firm of Charles Townsend (an England cricketer, as was his son David) to become Archer, Parkin & Townsend.
- Some years later in 1988 the firm shortened its name to Archers following a merger with Crute Kennedy based in Washington, Tyne & Wear.
