Established in 1971, ATHANA began as a manufacturer of disk packs and disk cartridges. These products were used in mainframe applications by companies including IBM, Digital Equipment, Honeywell, Fujitsu, and ICL. In 1977, ATHANA expanded it's operations to include the production of floppy disks.
