- On October 06, 1969, representatives of several of Atlanta’s air cargo firms met to form the Atlanta Air Cargo Association. This association, which included representatives from Certified Air Carriers, Air Freight Forwarders, IATA Agents, Air/Truck Motor Carriers, ACI Pickup & Delivery Contractors, Customs Brokers, Warehouse Operators, and Allied Services, met to organize a forum whose mission statement was:
- To promote the interests of members who work in the field of air cargo transportation through the establishment of a network of contacts.
