Our Philosophy...
We are often asked ‘Why alternative?’ and we respond according to the mood we’re in at the time. It can be a short and sweet response on a busy morning, or a more involved explanation when we’re kicking back on a winter’s evening. We will explain how we’ve recycled the furniture and doors found on the street; how we encourage recycling to our very international clientele, or if we’re feeling really brave, we might try and babble something about business ethics and the importance we place on respect; to guests, to employees, anyone.
To give you an idea :
We understand that the hostel is home to the traveller and we have tried to create a relaxed atmosphere without the interference of exaggerated advertising or attempts to further separate you from your dollar.
There is no coke/pepsi machine, no vending machines, no TV and there never will be. If the travel guides call these ‘services”, we certainly don’t see it that way.
