- Aykroyd & Sons Ltd are extremely proud to be a family run business. First formed in 1912 in Manchester by John Henry Aykroyd, we started to specialize in nightwear in the 1950’s. In the 1980’s the company started to design in-house, a move that had a significant impact on the transition into character clothing. By the middle of the decade we were producing mainly children’s nightwear. In the last 10 years we have progressed and developed an excellent supply base.
