Backpacker Board was originally set up as an online noticeboard for people who backpack in New Zealand. I had the idea while travelling around New Zealand and over time other features have been added and hopefully this should cover everything a Backpacker ever wanted from the web!! This site was built and is maintained by Backpackers so we know whats its like to be a traveller and how useful the web can be! All our staff have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and are on call to answer any questions or queries you may have. Anyway enjoy using this site and if you have any comments/suggestions contact us and well see what we can do!.
Paul is the 'big man' of Backpacker Board and overlooks all operations including the search engine and administration. He has travelled around New Zealand on two occasions and particulary enjoys the food and scenery!
Chris is one of our online staff who makes sure the forum etc is running smoothly and helps answer questions along the way. He has travelled around for New Zealand extensively over a two year period and has to date circled both island eight times and seen almost everything there is to see and do! He recently took part in the Backpacker Board Tour of New Zealand and is in charge of both Marketing and Sales within the company.
