- Spawned by a family rife with musicians, visual artists, writers, and other questionable characters, I, Claire Marie Cosmos, first picked up a camera at the age of six and proceeded to sever the heads off everyone at whom I pointed it. Several years later, in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism, I bought a used Chinon 35mm and quickly learned how to not decapitate people photographically.
