This is a big site with lots going on and it would be easy to feel overwhelmed by all that’s on offer at first. The following is a rough guide to make it simpler.

I’ve built this site as an online haven for people of sensibility with an interest in spiritual matters, especially for when you’re feeling blue, lost, lonely, confused, depressed, anxious, worried or isolated and need some warming up, reinforcement, encouragement, inspiration, advice or plain old unconditional love.

I’m a healer of compassion with a skill in dealing with psycho-emotional states, trained in Taoist (Chinese) medicine, psychotherapy and shamanism. I have been practicing for nearly 30 years. I am also a teacher of tai chi, meditation and the philosophy and techniques of Taoism. I specialise in making spirituality sexy, simple, fun and relevant to people with busy lives. I call this style of sexy, simple, fun, relevant spirituality, ‘Wayward Taoism’ (‘Tao’ means the natural way and wayward refers to how people who live in the real world really are). I currently live in the foothills of the Pyrenees and run this site from there, when not travelling about the planet doing shows, workshops, talks, TV and other media events. I wrote a popular weekly column in the Observer (UK) for five years, which I gave up a year ago to run this site and have written ten books covering most aspects of Taoism.
