The Bay Area Equestrian Network (BAEN) is an on-line community where California equine businesses, organizations and consumers can meet and exchange information. BAEN was created in 1997 to help promote the equine industry in Northern California, and to help horse enthusiasts find equine products and services in their area. We are unique among on-line directories in that our directory listings are organized by region and are free of charge. BAEN also serves California's equine community with free classified ads, event calendars, bulletin and message boards, news, articles, web site services and Internet marketing. In June 2004 we launched our first sister site, the Southern California Equestrian Network. In August 2005 we launched our two newest sister sites, Rogue Valley Equestrian Network serving all of Oregon, and Southeast Equestrian Network serving the southeastern United States.
Thousands of visitors from California, across North America and around the world visit BAEN every day. Our web site is indexed in numerous major Internet search engines and equine/regional directories. Look for us in Ride! Magazine's West Coast Equestrian Directory and Riding's California Horseman's Directory.
BAEN is locally owned and operated from our Pleasanton offices in San Francisco's East Bay. Our organization is supported through the sale of memberships, web site services, and advertising. BAEN's parent company is Extend, Inc., providers of business messaging software consulting and development services since 1993.
