Fueled by a long-time passion for flying, Fred Knutzen founded Bellingham Aero in 2002 with the goal of spreading his love of aviation. He obtained his private pilot’s license as a young man, and has been teaching friends and family members to fly ever since. He logged hundreds of hours flying above the beautiful landscapes of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Bellingham Aero has strived to establish itself as a friendly, affordable flight school.
