Studio info: The studio occupies a warehouse in West Berkeley's artisan district. All the equipment and the studio layout were designed from the ground up to fit our facility are designed for maximum versatility in production, from large-scale unique sculpture to tightly-controlled volume production.
Bios: Jeff Benroth formed his studio practice in 2002 after nine years as production manager for other glass studios in the Bay Area. His thorough knowledge of the material and experience in reconciling clients' ideas with the custom glass production environment have made the studio a valuable resource for the design community in the Bay Area and nationally. His interests in architecture and industrial design have honed his eye for integrating glass into larger systems and designs.
Jeff received his BFA Glass from the California College of Arts and Crafts; he has attended workshops at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Maine and at the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State, with which he maintains an ongoing working relationship.
