- The BFTD was originally created as a secondary clan and identity for the original members of Lister, Rimmer, Kryten, Cat, and TalkyToaster. We had been operating under a different clan, the MMM (Metalliplasty's Metal Militia). However, we kept being confused by players online as being members of the Mass Murder Machines. Although the Metalliplasty's Metal Militia existed first, we decided to abandon the name for the more unique one.
