Blackfusion.com endeavors to elevate the vast resources of social, political and economic news residing on the Internet for the enrichment and empowerment of people of color. Blackfusion.com is in essence a mini-search engine. Through this news-feed portal, Blackfusion.com strives to be the people of color's Internet springboard to allow easy access to global and relevant information.
Blackfusion.com is work in progress. There are various technologies to be utilized throughout Blackfusion.com’s development. This entails the use of relational database management systems (RDBMS), Really Simple Syndication (RSS), and Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) techniques. The result will be Blackfusion.com serving as a single focal point that intelligently fuses disparate news and resources on the Internet that is of interest to people of color.
