Title
Boringwheel Trout Fishery
Description
Situated in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, just off the A22 at Nutley, this 400-year-old spring-fed lake offers 6 1/2 acres of peace and tranquility for the discerning trout fisherman. A second lake has been set aside for brown trout only.
Fishing is from 8.30 a.m. until dusk seven days a week, and to ensure a catch at all times the lake is regularly stocked with rainbows and browns up to specimen size.
Stocking is carried out every two weeks at the ratio of 100 fish per acre which means the fish levels never fall below 650. Our trout are supplied from Dorset trout farms owned by The Who rock legend Roger Daltrey.
