- The Boylan Heights Centennial celebrates the 100th anniversary of Boylan Heights, a neighborhood founded in 1907 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood was developed by the Greater Raleigh Land Company on land formerly owned by family of William Montfort Boylan surrounding his Italianate mansion, Montfort Hall. Boylan Heights was plotted on a curvilinear grid and comprises homes of Arts and Crafts, Colonial Revival, and Queen Anne architectural styles.
