BrightonGrid is the first in the series of local listing site with map, business listing as well as events. This concept has been developed over a 2- year period and launched in June 2003.
The basis of this site is from a chance comment of one of our retail customers, who concerned that their customers might find it difficult to locate them, so they ask for our help. This lead to the massive project of trying to provide something which is easy to use, maintain as well as informative. We feel that there is a need for an affordable portal for local business to advertise, list their services for visitors and residents of and Hove alike.
Google and other search engines have prove that our concept of local linking works and a lot of our subscribers have received traffic directed from our site because of the local linking. With features, events and listings, as well as build- your- own map to share with friends on the site, is a one-stop information portal offering free services to all visitors of our site.
