My obsession with predators started early in life. One of my earliest memories was of staring eye to eye with a pike as it laid on the kitchen table. I think I was about 4 yrs old. All I wanted to do after that was to see how my father had caught it! After a lot of crazing on my part, we went on our first trip, down to the River Severn. My father with his spinning gear and me with an old cane rod and a home made float.
