Bunker Hills has been recognized as one of the finest golf courses since it opened for play in 1968. It is a very challenging course because it requires a variety of golf shots through each of its twenty seven holes. The course was originally designed and built as an eighteen hole course but was expanded in 1989 to twenty seven holes of Championship Golf. The course has large greens and the unique character of containing seventy-five very large bunkers.
