Bushi Ki Do is a Dojo based in Bilborough, Nottingham that teaches the classical Japanese sword style of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu. This is a style that has its roots in the Tosa region of Japan on the island of Shikoku. Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu can be translated as: Muso: without equal. Jikiden: transmitted teacher to student. Eishin: a master swordsman and 7th Headmaster. Ryu: way or style. Iai as a word can be translated as 'facing or meeting a person'.
