We hope that you easily find on this site the information you are seeking about our school, and we thank you for your interest. This is my first year as Headmaster, and I am honored to be a leader of such an outstanding educational institution.
Canadian Academy is known as a leading international school in the region because of its fine facilities, its comprehensive and challenging learning program, its outstanding faculty and staff and because of the commitment of parents to being partners with the school in the education of their children. As my wife, Amy, and I have come to know the school more deeply we are further impressed by the values we perceive that animate daily life at the school. These values can be traced back to the founding years when the school mission was first expressed in our motto, “Scientia Clavis Successus,” which we translate as, “Knowledge is the Key to Successful Service.”
Now that we are here in Kobe we are also grateful for the kindness of our Japanese hosts and the quality of life for family living. If you join our community I am sure you will be as pleased as we have been with the opportunities here for learning and growing.
