- Well, here I will tell you a little bit about me. I have lived in the Brooks Alberta Canada Area for 30 years and this is where I got my start as a serious fisherman. Many people have a negative opinion of Brooks, personally, I still love it. It certainly isn’t the town that I moved to so many years ago; it is bigger, more diverse and now has a few big city problems in a small city package. Problems are problems anywhere you go, I live on a small acreage with my family, that includes my wife and son, a cat, two dogs, and a whole bunch of projects that I am working on, but my wife says I’ll never finish any of them.
