- I initially got interested in photography in 1984 when I bought a Minolta X-370 and started shooting nature and landscapes while on camping and hiking trips. I photographed on and off over the years until I got my first digital point and shoot camera and really got back into shooting. That initial digital camera was followed by getting back into slide film and relearning to shoot manually on my original Minolta. In 2003 I purchased my first DSLR and I have been shooting digital exclusively since then.
