Description
Each fall chimney swifts migrate to the Amazon Basin in South America. A study revealed one swift flew more than 1.3 million miles in his 9 year life.
Carolina Wildlife Care rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife to return to its natural environment, provides education on the environmental importance of native wildlife, and promotes the preservation of wildlife and its natural habitat in urban areas.
Carolina Wildlife Care is a registered nonprofit organization as defined in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization receives no state or federal funding, but relies on financial support through membership, donations, fundraising, and occasional grant assistance.
