The nonpolitical (nonpartisan), nonprofit Center for National Interest of Pakistan (CNIP) strives to achieve the status of a creative, looked-to leader in the ever changing climate of national interest. Pursuing its mission to improve the performance of citizen-action and the connections between government and citizens, it focuses its strategic priorities in areas of national interest of Pakistan. The Canter’s 700 members, or Principals, are business, education and nonprofit leaders who have served in government. A volunteer chair and board of trustees lead the organization, working with the president and CEO and CNIP staff.
The Center propagates that Pakistani nationality is the most important aspect of one's identity, you are a Pakistani First, then a Muslim or any other minority; as Muslims can be found all over the world. Our theory of nationalism employs to create the sense of national identity, corresponding to it, the state should promote a 'national' identity for itself, so to speak the “Brand Pakistan”, and its citizens’ self-worth.
