Cfmug.org - Information on meetings for Central FL Midrange Users Group

Title

Central Florida Midrange Users Group - Welcome!

Description

It's purpose is bring people and information together in an informal setting by holding monthly presentations on topics of interest in our field.

The Central Florida Midrange User's Group (CFMUG) was formed in 1978 after a number of midrange executives and users expressed interest in having monthly meetings to share ideas among themselves, see new products and concepts presented by IBM Systems Engineers and Marketing Representatives, and be able to associate with people interested in fields in which they were working. The organization was formed with users of System/34's, System/36's and System/38's. During the early days, the IBM Corporation and member users spent considerable effort making sure the group received some of the best technical information and presentations available. Today the organization continues in that tradition so users will be aware of who in their community can share their interests.

How many times have you wished there was a way to make your employees more productive, more knowledgeable, and at the same time, give them the recognition they deserve. Do it through the Central Florida Midrange Users Group where users meet other users in their field, learn new skills, gain from seeing new information systems technologies to make your company more competitive and feel rewarded for all their hard work. It is a simple idea to improve your company's bottom line with a monthly reward for your employees.
