has been at the Marketplace Shopping Center in Collegeville, PA for nearly 15 years.. The store is family owned and operated by a father and son team who are second and third generation Collegeville area residents. The family name is well known to older natives of the area since previous family members had operated the historic (oldest in America) Perkiomen Bridge Hotel for 40 years until the mid 1980's. At the present time there are three cousins who are running restaurants and hotels in the area.
Jerry and Paul Chiccarine opted to be in the jewelry business because of their fondness for jewelry and the opportunity to provide superior service to their many friends and customers. Jerry, the Father, comes to the jewelry business by way of antiques and collectibles. He has been dealing in collectibles for more than 25 years.
Prior to opening the family store, Jerry Chiccarine was active for a decade on the Antique show circuit with a focus on buying and selling fine jewelry and estate items. Today, when he is not working in the store, he is still active in antiques and collectibles. He is a devoted woodworker who enjoys the restoration of older furniture and collects and uses antique tools.
