Childaid organization is the brain child of two Ghanaian women, Madam Fati Issaka a retired Nursing Officer and Mrs Josephine Taylor an employee of British Airways in Ghana. The organisation was founded in January 2002 and registered as an NGO. The first project of Childaid Organisation is Anfaani Children’s Home, a child survival centre which cares for abandoned and motherless babies from a day old until 24 months.
