- Choicecomics.net started in 2006 with the intention of learning PHP. I wanted to build a database driven site that allowed me to learn mySQL as well. The idea came to me as I was reading through some webcomics one day and realized I was browsing through artists "links" page and was finding new webcomics from their favorites.
