I'm not too sure who originally owned the domain choons.net, but there was a post on the choons.net forum at one point, from a guy called Broo, who used to have a website hosted on this domain (not known to me). Strange as it is, the website that was here before was for pretty much the same purpose.
When myself, Rob and Chris realised that Chris was actually becoming a good DJ, we decided that we might aswell setup a website for him, enabling potential promoters and other interested people to listen to his mixes. As me and Rob were already designing websites, we thought we were more than willing to do it, and we came up with a small(ish) website, obviously concentrating on DJ cK (I came up with the name by the way;)).
At this stage, me and Rob were just listening to tape packs, not going to any events, then, some random day, cK told us that he'd been asked to play a set at an event in Southill, promoted by Sounddivision.I'm not 100% on how this happened, but from what I can remember it was through Matt (DJ Rezista). After this night, where we all got on well with eachtother, cK asked myself and Rob if we thought we should host Matt's mixes too, as him and cK were thinking of a back to back partnership. Sure we said, sounds good.
