Steve Mikel joined Chroma Energy in 2004 with over twenty years experience in both the financial and operating sides of the oil and gas business. Steve was a co-founder in 1984 of Resource Investors Management Company, a specialized energy investment boutique firm, and worked as an investor in small and medium sized energy companies for ten years. From 1995 until its merger, he was President and CEO of Southern Mineral Corporation, a NASDAQ listed independent E & P company.
Geroge Morris has a career spanning over twenty eight years in hands on experience in reservoir, drilling and operating engineering activities as well as directing reservoir, production and construction engineers. Prior to Chroma, George was Vice President of Acquisitions with ATP Oil & Gas from 2002 thru 2004, from 2000 to 2002 he was Vice President of Engineering for TDC, and from 1998 thru 2000 he was Manager of Engineering for Burlington Resources. He has concentrated experience in the Gulf of Mexico, Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast, East Texas and West Texas. George received a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
