- City Lights Gallery is a non-profit, tax-deductable Organization dedicated to promoting the work of emerging and established artists from Bridgeport and the surrounding region. Our mission is to be an open, inviting venue for the visual arts, collaborating with business, community and government in promoting Bridgeport's renaissance through the arts. We are centrally located in downtown Bridgeport at 37 Markle Court, just off McLevy Green, convenient to dining and entertainment. We are a stone's throw from the Metro North station, downtown office buildings and the newly renovated Chase Building residences. New shows featuring painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and mixed media are mounted every four to six weeks. Proceeds from these shows help defray our expenses. We maintain an inventory of limited edition prints, photography, cards and handmade items for sale. We also operate an on-site frame shop. Figure drawing sessions are held on Saturdays at nominal cost. Our events schedule is always expanding. As a non-profit we are financially dependant upon the support of individuals and corporations to keep our doors open. Please include us in your giving plan.
