- We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. The Bible has been, and always will be, preserved for this and all succeeding generations. The King James Version shall be the official and only translation used by the church in the English language. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 12:6-7) The Reina Valera 1569 (1960 revision) shall be the official and only translation used by the Spanish Department. The Reina Valera 1960 shall be accepted as the inerrant Word of God. We believe both the King James and Reina Valera have been properly translated from the accepted Greek Received Text or Textus Receptus.
