The mission of the Civic Ballet of Volusia County is to provide an entity to promote the art of ballet in the greater Daytona Beach area and to cultivate a community appreciation of the ballet and all other forms of dance. CBVC provides children and young adults from throughout the region a chance to perform in a production of the Nutcracker based solely on their talent and level of achievement, regardless of their town or studio affiliation.
