- Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. It is located on University Avenue, directly across from the State Capitol and is adjacent to the Frogtown and Mount Airy neighborhoods. The center of the congregation’s life is worship. This worship is conducted with the use of seven different liturgies. Multicultural elements, particularly music, are regularly utilized. Our worship is liturgical. The preached word and the sacrament of Holy Communion are part of every Sunday Worship Service. All people are invited to participate in Holy Communion.
