At Clean Air Gardening, L.C., we've been selling environmentally responsible lawn and garden products online since 1998. And judging by the customer response we've gotten, it's safe to say that we've been successful! We're proud to have built a store entirely devoted to pollution-reducing lawn and garden equipment.
I discovered the thrill of using a non-motorized lawnmower in 1997, on my own lawn. It seemed so much quieter, healthier and fun, that I wanted to introduce reel mowers to as many other people as possible. After all, if just 20 or 30 percent of people switched to non-motorized mowers, the reduction in summer air pollution would be significant. Especially in high smog areas like Dallas, where I live.
Even if you don't care about the environmental impact, there are plenty of reasons to switch to a reel mower. They're cheaper, easier to maintain, lighter weight, and you never have to struggle to get them started! And best of all, they do a much better job cutting the lawn. That's why most golf courses exclusively use reel mowers.
