- During the glory days of the 49ers in the 1980's and 1990's, it was hard to get a ticket to see our boys play at Candlestick. As the 49ers went into salary cap hell and we had bad seasons in the early 2000's, the fan base that once filled up our beloved stadium had dwindled dramatically. In came an influx of diehard, true Faithful 49ers fans that were unable to get season tickets during the age of the 10 year waiting list that came with being perennial Super Bowl contenders every season. Finally over the last few years our tailgate crew grew into season ticket holders who have stuck with the team in spite of our down years.
