Sheriff’s Biography
Sheriff Warren E. Rupf has been with the Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff for over thirty years. He has served at virtually every rank in every assignment beginning in 1965. Sheriff Rupf celebrated his 35th anniversary in November 2000 while The Sheriff's Office celebrated it's 150th anniversary.
California State Sheriffs Association Member of Board of Directors, 1996 to present, President, 2002, First Vice President, 2001,Secretary, 2000, Treasurer, 1999
Sheriff Rupf is also Director of both the Saint Mary’s-College Scholarship Fund and the Micki Rainey Scholarship Fund. Past Board of Directors memberships include Suicide and Crisis Intervention as well as the Contra Costa County Fair. He is an active supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
