During my college studies, I was a stringer for USA Today. I also went on to receive my BA in both Commercial Photography and Communications from Purdue University. After college, I became one of USA/Todays permanent staff and one of their premier photographers located in Melbourne, Florida. It was a humbling experience and I learned so very much working for them, It was an education far better than college. I was lucky enough to get such assignments as Charles-Prince of Wales, Don Henly, Michael Jackson, a couple of First Ladies, and well.... you get the picture. I felt blessed. And having to fight my way to the front line to get "the picture" taught me to stop at nothing to get the shot. This is something you, the bride, should know. You have spent so much time planning every detail of your wedding day, and I stop at nothing to capture them all. My background in communications also gives me the people skills it takes to make your wedding go smoothly. I aspire to know you very well and be in constant communication with all of your other venders on the day of your wedding.
I also did freelance work on the side and I had the opportunity to document many of the early shuttle launches as well as other missions launched by NASA, and Hughs from Cape Canaveral. I covered satellite encapsulations and launches of Delta and Atlas rockets as well.You might ask how does this help you the potential client? If Hughs,NASA, General Dynamics, and McDonnell Douglas can trust me to document these multi-million dollar space crafts, then you can definitely rely on me to show up for your wedding. this work also taught me to be very detail oriented, and you can bet I will capture everyone of yours.
I also had the excellent fortune of meeting and working with renowned fashion photographer Rich Mikeo, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I have worked with many models and celebrities alike. I felt very fortunate. I was lucky enough to work on big modeling sets at various locations with such models as Natasha Kinsky, Kim Herns, Elle McPherson, And Burt Reynolds. This taught me the concept of painting my subjects with light and portraying each positive feature of the various models that we worked with. Here is what you need to know! I focus on every positive attribute, and I will make you look the best you possibly can in every photograph. Only a professional can know how to light the situation right and bring out all of these attributes in the ways you've dreamed of.
