- Trax is an independent software developer founded in 1981. Trax was incorporated in California in 1983 and that is the most corporate aspect of the company. We cringe at the Dilbertesque mission statements we see from otherwise perfectly good companies. We founded Trax because we liked working with computers and we felt this would be the best way to insure that we could continue to maximize our enjoyment and minimize interference from well intentioned but clueless bosses.
