- The 8th of August 2001 the TRUST known as CHARITABLE TRUST FOR MINORITIES (CTM) was established for the people of minorities and upto date (08/08/2007) it has take care of all the cases and families of Tamil Muslim Prisoners in Coimbatore adn all ove Tamilnadu. Because of its hard works and appeals now the Government started to announce verdicts for some cases in Coimbatore and elsewhere. Upto today it has bring more than 30 Kovai Bomp Blast prisoners out of prison by Bail.Its Treasurer knows as KOVAI THANGAPPA is doing a lot to expose the Prisoners Plight to the media.
Mission of CTM are :
* to relief for the poor, needy and disabled people,
- to promote education and spread knowledge,
- to construct schools & colleges,
- to provide training to tailoring and handicrafts,
- to appoint advocates to conduct cases to guide the trust members legally and to provide the minorities with all legal aided services,
THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY CHARITABLE TRUST FOR MINORITIES ARE :
Relief for the poor, needy and disabled people, medical relief, care for the welfare of depressed and handicapped and advancement of any other object of general public utility and not involving the carrying of any activity for profit.
To provide assistance to the down trodden by giving training to tailoring and handicrafts. Charity through work programme and conducting training classes.
To assist the poor by offering them help by way of food, books, medicine and clothing and also contributing to other Charitable Institutions engaged in such activities.
To construct, establish, acquire and maintain buildings to be used for shelter to the needy, homes for the aged and feeding the poor.
To promote education and spread knowledge and for the said purpose to construct schools ,colleges and to maintain and administer such institution in all branches of art,culture,technology,medicine,science and engineering.
To appoint advocates to conduct cases to guide the trust members legally and to provide the minorities with all legal aided services.
To donate in kind or cash to all causes of similar objects and charitable purposes by reasons of their locality or operation or otherwise.
Providing facilities, convenience and amenities of general public utility and of such nature of every description.
To accept donations, grants, presents, gifts either in cash or kind for purpose of the trust.
To receive endowments for any specific purpose of the above types and administer them separately.
The register office of the trust shall be at RAHEEM PLASTIC HOUSE, GNANIYAR NAGAR, SARAMEDU, KARUMBUKKADAI, COIMBATORE 641008.The registered office in due course may open branches in various rural and urban areas to carry on the objects of the trust.The registered office may be shifted to any other place considering the convinenece of the trustees,passing a resolution in writing to that effect.
The Trust has elected JANAB.S.U.ANVAR KHAN, as the chairman.The trustees hole their office at the trust during their lifetime or until they resign individually. CONTACT DETAILS ARE :
